Why Jeremiah Wright needs to keep preaching
One of my partners at CDM, the Rev. Gerald Britt, penned a fairly incendiary op-ed column in The Dallas Morning News recently. You can read it here:

"Prophetic critique is designed to leave hearers discomfited while challenging them to wrestle with demands for social justice and change," he writes.
As CDM's fundraiser, I can have two reactions to this piece: I can be concerned that it will upset our donors, our I can take it as another firm reminder that my jobs is not to be a marketer.
I am not trying to sell someone a batch of charitable goods.
I -- like all fundraisers -- am here to seek justice, to advocate for a more equitable alignment of resources so that communities may be strengthened, lives improved and futures brightened.
