2009 Annual Letter from Bill Gates

I encourage you to read the first Annual Letter from the Chairman of the largest charitable organization in the history of the world:

I am writing to share with you my first letter about working at the Gates Foundation. I'm eager to tell you about some of the amazing progress in health and education that is helping millions of people improve their lives. Despite the unprecedented economic downturn we are in, I remain fundamentally optimistic about the years ahead. I feel sure I will have lots of success stories to share in the future, and thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
