We have an excellent opportunity for an Executive Director in our Dallas office. This is a very important Key Position within our organization and figures prominently within the South Central Affiliate as well as nationally. 

In this challenging position your day-to-day responsibilities will provide you with opportunities to interface with high-level volunteers, to develop new customer relationships and cultivate existing ones, to plan and execute nationally recognized events such as Heart Walk and Galas, to raise funds for a great cause, and to direct professional level staff committed to achieve. 

The Executive Director for Dallas participates in a formalized group of 13 major metro Executive Directors from across the United States. Members of this group receive world class training as well as mentoring and support, including career pathing guidance from affiliate and national Executive Vice Presidents as well as our national COO, Field Operations.

Experience:
Successful candidates will be degreed, have a proven track record of recruiting and partnering with top-level volunteers and corporate leaders, have at least 5 years of fundraising, and at least 3 years of management experience. 

Additionally, the candidate will have experience staffing volunteer Board of Directors, managing staff in corporate fund-raising and program implementation, being accountable for meeting specific financial targets, building and managing teams, creating plans to meet goals, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Daily travel of approximately 50% to 80%, around the greater Dallas area is required. 

Starting salary will be based upon experience, plus this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Great benefits.
