Simmons may give out $100 million this year

The Dallas Morning News reports taht, "one of Dallas' feared corporate raiders in the 1970s and '80s, Harold Simmons . . . is poised to strengthen his reputation in charitable giving.

"We'll probably give away a lot more – I don't want to say the number because it could be real big this year . . . I think it'll be over $100 million."
